Many people wonder ….How can I start my Coaching Career?

1.𝑻𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎
through an accredited school or program.( ICF – International Coaching Federation is recommended yet there are other schools)

2.𝑶𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 (either through the ICF or other entities depending on which your school is associated with). With that certification, you’re basically good to go.

3.𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅 (𝑺𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒖𝒑 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔)
If you attended your program with an experienced coach , they should have provided you with some tips and tricks to start your own coaching career , be patient ..it takes time.

4.𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇
Now that you have the title “Certified Life Coach” behind your name, it’s time to start handing out business cards, getting ads online, Websites and in community pages.
The more name recognition you have, the better.

5.𝑮𝒆𝒕 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒄𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒏𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌
After you’re fresh off the certification boat, you’ll need some clients. However, with zero experience under your belt, they’re going to be pretty hard to come by. In an exchange of experience working with people, ask your friends and networks if you can work with them for free. You’ll get your hours in and they’ll get real value.

6.𝑮𝒆𝒕 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒄𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔
After a few months of working with your sister’s coworker and your friend’s pizza delivery guy, eventually word of mouth will do its job. You’ll get that first phone call that makes you jump through the roof.
